Enjoy the peace of mind that your website is up and running

With Seobility’s Uptime Monitoring, you don’t have to worry about your website being down without you noticing.
Seobility automatically checks the start URL of your website at a time interval of your choice (between 1 and 60 minutes) and immediately alerts you by email if a downtime is detected.
This allows you to act quickly, minimize downtime and prevent negative effects on your business.

Get detailed information on what caused the downtimes
Seobility not only alerts you when your website is down, but also provides details on what caused the problem.
Has your server timed out? Or did it return an HTTP error code like 404 or 500? The downtime list contains the details you need to quickly identify the root of the problem.
Monitor your server performance
Besides checking your website’s uptime, Seobility also tracks the response time of your server which is an important indicator of server performance.
You can set a custom response time threshold and let Seobility notify you when your server exceeds this value. This allows you to identify potential server issues and take proactive measures before they cause a downtime.
Frequently asked questions
Consistent uptime of your website is essential to maintaining your hard-earned Google rankings. Downtimes and server errors can not only affect your business and revenue if potential customers are unable to access your site, but can also lead to a drop in rankings or, in the worst case, de-indexation of your content by Google.
With Seobility’s Uptime Montitoring, you can set a custom monitoring interval which indicates how frequently your website should be checked, ranging from “once every minute” to “every 60 minutes”. Please note that monitoring intervals shorter than 15 minutes are only available with a paid plan.
As soon as a downtime is detected (which will depend on your monitoring interval), Seobility will send you an email alert. Downtimes will also be visible in your Uptime Monitoring dashboard in Seobility.
Yes, with a paid Seobility plan, you’ll have the option to add multiple email recipients for downtime alerts. This way, you can make sure that the right people are informed about a downtime (e.g. your website administrator).
By default, Seobility will monitor the start URL of your Seobility project. In most cases, this will be your website’s home page. If you’d like to monitor a different URL, you can simply change the start URL of your project.
In Seobility’s Uptime Monitoring, “downtime” is defined as any event that prevents the successful retrieval of a URL. This includes: Server timeouts, where the server fails to send a reply within 30 seconds. HTTP status codes 3xx, 4xx, and 5xx. Server response times that exceed your defined threshold. Miscellaneous: This error message summarizes various problems such as a disconnected domains or network errors. Server replies with a file size less than 5kb, indicating an incomplete transfer of the page content. While these are not downtimes in the classical sense, they still indicate server issues and can have a negative impact on your SEO as Google won’t be able to see the actual page content.
